TOBA TEK SINGH: A woman was allegedly tortured by her husband and his younger brother over a domestic dispute at Pirmahal in Azafi Abadi, Gawanwali of Chak 321-GB.

Complainant Nasir Ali told the police that his sister, Mumtaz Bibi, was living with her parents after a dispute with her husband, Muhammad Umer, who used to torture her.

He added that four days ago, Umer reconciled with her through a panchayat and took her to his house where he and his brother, Naik Muhammad, tortured her with a hammer, causing multiple fractures to her body.

ACCIDENT: A man died after his motorcycle rammed with a roadside wall on Tuesday on Gutwala-Wapda City Road in Faisalabad.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Amin (43) of Tandlianwala.

Rescue 1122 said the accident took place due to speeding.
