Dalgona coffee became quite a craze when everyone was sitting at home during the Covid-19 lockdown days, and missing going out for coffee. The trend of whipping up, with hand, a velvety smooth foam of coffee and cream or milk, is supposed to have started in Korea and everyone caught on soon.

Since you kids should be having more nutritious milky options, I am sharing the recipe of Milo dalgona. This is so super easy to make, and so malty delicious that you will not have Milo any other way after drinking this.

And what a delight it will be for the morning rush time when you don’t want to have a full breakfast and mum wants to make sure you have something nutritious to keep you energised all day.

So check out this recipe of Milo dalgona and I am sure soon everyone at home will be in love with its silky malt sweetness.

Ingredients

4 tablespoons cream

3 tablespoons Milo powder

2 tablespoons sugar or to taste

Method

In a medium-sized bowl, add cream, Milo powder and sugar. Either whisk with a hand whisk or use a single attachment of the electric beater to beat these until combined, foamy and smooth.

In a glass, add ice cubes (you can skip this if you want), add milk and top with the creamy Milo mixture. Dust with some Milo powder and enjoy. Do stir the milk a little for the Milo cream to incorporate in the milk.

You can add different toppings if you like — like chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, ice cream, nuts, etc. Just experiment and discover your favourite version of Milo dalgona.
