Hope gives meaning to life

This is regarding the article, “Hope gives meaning to life”, by Sarwasha Mairaj (YW, November 5). It was a nice article as it highlighted some of the main factors that pave way to success.

I agree with the writer that as humans, we go through a lot of phases in life, some are rough and some are smooth; one may fail at times, but it doesn’t mean that we should stop living. Instead, we should never lose hope and must push our limits to reach our goals, because hope is the key to success and a better future.

Technology and us

We are living in a technologically advanced world, which has also brought advanced gadgets to make our life easier and effortless. But unfortunately, these advanced gadgets have only made us to rely on them completely for everything, which has resulted in us forgetting the worth of time, hard work, family, friendships, and nature and, above all, our very own selves!

We have become lazier with time. Instead of reading books, we prefer to scroll on phones. Instead of cooking food, we prefer to order it online and instead of playing outdoor games with others, we play video games.

It is high time that we should start giving attention to ourselves and our relationships, in order to remember the worth of time and relationships.

Nature’s finest doctors

This is with reference to the article, “Nature’s finest doctors” by Faraz Ahmed (YW, November 12). The article was well-articulated and the information in it was worth reading.

Reading this article made me realise the importance of flowers. I came to know how nature is beneficial for us and how these small, ordinary looking flowers and plants are loaded with health benefits. I would suggest to all the readers to value and explore nature in every possible way.

Grandpa’s advice

This is regarding the story “Grandpa’s advice” by Memoona Mukhtar (YW, December 3).

In this story, the writer gives an important message to her readers that we should not stop ourselves from progressing even if we fail, because failure is the first step towards success. Therefore, we should not hesitate to face any hurdles and remain firm in reaching our goals, no matter how hard it may seem to us in the beginning.

Remember, nothing is impossible in life, all we need is to believe in ourselves.
