KARACHI: Pakistan will commence their preparation for next month’s FIH Hockey Men’s Nations Cup in a training camp here at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has invited 20 players – 18 who featured in the recently concluded Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and two others — for the camp and asked to report at the venue by Monday evening.

Pakistan boast three Nations Cup titles and will go into the tournament, which starts on Nov. 28, after finishing on the podium for the first time in 11 years when they won the bronze medal at the Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Provisional squad: Umer Bhutta, Abdullah Ishtiaq, Akmal Hussain, M. Abdullah, Sufyan, Arbaz Ahmed, Aqeel, Ihtesham, Murtaza Yaqoob, Rana Abdul Waheed, Rooman Khan, Hanan Shahid, Junaid Manzoor, Arshad Liaquat, Afraz, Shahzeb Khan, Osama Bashir, M. Imran, Rana Sohail Riaz, Abdul Wahab.
