KARACHI: A man was killed and four policemen, including a senior officer, were injured in a traffic accident in Manghopir on Friday.

Police said two cars collided with each other near Khyber Chowk, resulting in death of the driver of one of the cars.

Occupants of the other car — identified as SSP Qamar Abbas Rizvi, his driver Constable Shakeel and two other policemen, Safdar and Zeeshan — suffered injuries.

They were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi and Abbasi Shaheed Hospitals for treatment.
