Challenges lead to success

This is regarding the cover article “Challenges lead to success”, by Fatima Ahmad (YW, November 13). The article elaborated the topic very well.

We all face challenges every day, without facing challenges life can get boring and there will be nothing left to motivate us. I agree with the writer that we tend to find faults in others and see others’ mistakes, but, instead of doing that, we should search for our faults and bring positive changes by accepting the challenges we come across daily in our lives.

Why pencils have erasers

This is regarding the story “Why pencils have erasers” by Aimen Zehra (YW, November 13). The story was interesting as it was about speaking the truth and not hiding anything, which is the best way to live life.

I realised that we make our lives complicated by hiding the truth and not erasing the negativity from our lives. However, by being honest and brave to face anything, we can solve almost all our problems lives and live a confident and content life.

A random act of kindness

This is with reference to the story “A random act of kindness” by Sidra Firdousi (YW, November 6). The story shared a great message about being kind to others.

Sometimes, when we see a homeless or poor person, we ignore them, which is not only harsh on our part, but also shows our carelessness. If we are living a luxurious life or one which is full of all the necessities of life, it is because we are blessed. We should share the blessings with others and help them in any way we can.

Even a very small gesture can change someone’s life.

Earth’s visit to the hospital

This is regarding the story “Earth’s visit to the hospital” by Maha Arshad (YW, November 13). The story was indeed a great one.

The writer described the miserable condition of our beautiful planet and how we are destroying it. No doubt, if the situation remains the same, earth will no longer be a healthy place to live and the results will be devastating for all the living things.

Thus, I request to all those reading this to not disregard earth’s importance and do our best to protect and keep it clean.

I have vowed to work for the betterment of our environment in every possible way.
