Pokemon Unite adds Pokemon Sylveon

The popular MOBA-style Pokemon game developed by Tencent announced that it would add the Fairy-type Pokemon Sylveon to the game as part of balance patch/update.

This is the first Eevee evolution added to the game. While no official information has been given about Sylveon’s role, many believe that Sylveon will slot in as an Attacker due to its role in the main series games.

Sylveon was first announced as an upcoming Pokemon in late August along with Mamoswine.

Disney World unveiled Groot and Rocket statues

Disney unveiled statues of Rocket Raccoon and Groot at Epcot (theme park at Walt Disney World Resorts). Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was absolutely stoked about the development. He posted a picture on Twitter and fans got Groot trending on the platform in no time.

Walt Disney World is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and there have been a tonne of festivities. Fans have been looking forward to that attraction as the MCU heroes have become a mainstay of any Marvel discussion.

Edward Scissorhands’ house turned into a museum

The house featured in Tim Burton’s ‘80s classic Edward Scissorhands has now been transformed into a makeshift museum dedicated to the film, featuring merch, posters, props and oddities tied to the production.

The family known as Klops, bought the Boggs house about a year ago and gathered together a collection, in part through donations from neighbours who lived in the area when the movie was in production. Joey Klops and his wife have named the Tampa home “Scissorland.”

Among the goodies on display is a license plate that neighbourhood residents had to have on their cars so that they could get into the neighbourhood while the film was in production. They also had an actual pair of the scissors from the movie. Starring Johnny Depp and directed by Tim Burton. Depp delivers the performance that launched his career, as Edward, an irresistibly charming creation with razor-sharp metal hands and a heart of gold.
