The mighty pyramids

This is regarding the article, “The mighty pyramids” by Bareera Tahir (YW, May 29). I liked the article very much as it was nicely written and was also full of unique information.

Articles, which are enriched with the knowledge of different places from around the world are always interesting because we usually don’t get to read such things. It is my request to the Young World magazine to publish more articles like this one.

The article “The mighty pyramids” by Bareera Tahir was a wonderful piece to read. The dialogue form of the article was unique and it grabbed my attention. I appreciate and urge the writer to write more articles.

Making the right decision

This is regarding the article “Making the right decision” by Iqra Aslam Memon (YW, April 3). The article rightly described the ways in which one should make serious choices in life.

We all take decisions, small or big, for instance, what to wear, where to go, what to eat, but these are the easiest and the smaller decisions, they don’t affect our future. However, there comes a time when one has to take hard decisions, like making the right choice for career, what to study, where to study, etc. These decisions should not be taken easily, they should be given proper attention and time because our choices determine our future.

Talent takes you places

This is with reference to the story, “Talent takes you places” by Aliza Hameed (YW, March 20). I liked the story because it was on a topic that we often talk about, but seldom pay attention to.

No doubt, every person is talented, all one needs is encouragement and the right moment to bring their hidden talents out. Our talents and skills make us unique from one another and add to our progress; such is the message given through the story.

Be unique, be you!

This is regarding the story “Be unique, be you!” by Linta Mustafa (YW, May 15). The story was nice as it suggested that our focus should be on one thing, and that is not to be the jack-of-all-trades, rather we should master something that is particularly important to us.

Usually, we try to be good in everything that others do and forget that we may be good at something else. This is where we need to bring change and appreciate our qualities and abilities.
