Plastic bottle money box

This is regarding the section, Wonder crafts “Plastic bottle money box” by Asif Ali (YW, April 17). I love making crafts and the section on making craft in YW is my favourite one.

The writer shows us how to make easy crafts from the things that are readily available to us in our home. Saving money is the best habit one can ever have and we should encourage our youngsters to save money rather than waste it.

I am glad to see the easy DIY on making a money box out of a plastic bottle. The craft was not only easy, but very useful too. We can easily get hold of plastic bottles and create such a wonderful craft anytime.

This saves money and, at the same time, makes us creative. I would like to suggest to the contributor of the section to share some DIY on how to make handmade cards for our friends.

Ikigai — the formula of happiness

This is with reference to the cover article “Ikigai-the formula of happiness” by Tooba Khan (YW, April 24). The article was very impressive and provided us one of the most worthwhile formulas to live a happy life.

We all strive for satisfaction and purpose in our lives, our Ikigai is our reason for jumping out of bed in the morning. We should celebrate and appreciate life every day.

Ikigai is the beneficial practice in career growth. If people want to live a happy life with real satisfaction, they should follow the steps written in the article.

The article “Ikigai, the formula of happiness” by Tooba Khan was very interesting. Life has offered us a bundle of things, but what we do with it depends on our abilities and understanding of life; how we perceive it and how we get the most out of it.

I hope everybody in the world follows this formula of happiness by expecting best for ourselves.

Dictionaries are essential

This refers to the article “Dictionaries are essential” by Ahmad Hassan Nadeem (YW, April 10). I agree with the views of the writer that the use of dictionaries is very important in our academic, as well as daily life.

Dictionaries make you learn abbreviations and pronunciation. I think the best part of dictionary is that you have to look and search the words manually which, in this technologically advanced time, most of people have forgotten.
