Plastic bottle money box

This is regarding the wonder craft “Plastic bottle money box” by Asif Ali (YW, April17). I like the craft very much mainly for its usefulness. Saving money is a good habit and making a money box out of plastic bottle is a wonderful idea.

I am really thankful to the writer and the YW team for publishing a useful and informative DIY.

Reading dispels mental barriers!

This is with reference to the article “Reading dispels mental barriers” by Noor Zahra (YW, March 20).

Those who don’t know the importance of reading should read this article and they will realise their mistake of not giving importance to reading. Reading plays a great role in sharpening one’s mind and keeping one informed about the world we are living in. Moreover, reading helps us to understand others and other cultures.

The notice slip

This is regarding the story “The notice slip” by Hiba Khan (YW, April 17). The topic was good but needed some good turning point. I disagree with the writer for writing that being chubby and little bubbly was the reason for the girl to not have many friends. This statement is discouraging to the chubby kids and therefore, I would like to suggest to the writer to always keep in mind the feelings of every type of readers.

I liked the story “The notice slip” by Hiba Khan very much. The story conveyed a message that we should not hurt others and remain kind and give due respect to them.

Don’t lose hope!

This is with reference to the article “Don’t lose hope” by Hamayal Farrukh Kiani (YW, April 17). The article was very simple, yet it conveyed a very strong message that we must work hard and never lose hope since hope makes a person strong. So, all one needs is hope to reach the goals in his/her life.

The article “Don’t lose hope” by Hamayal Farrukh Kiani was a wonderful piece of writing. Keeping oneself encouraged and always hopeful leads to achieving goals and success in life.

On the other hand, losing hope can be catastrophic, because hopelessness is a negative feeling and can lead one to feel dejected and miserable. If we want to achieve success, we should not lose hope and stay positive and encouraged.
