BAHAWALPUR: The district administration has chalked out a programme to celebrate the Punjab Culture Day on Sunday (tomorrow).

The divisional commissioner has issued a directive to the district administrations of three districts to celebrate the day in a befitting manner.

In Bahawalpur, Deputy Commissioner Muzzafar Khan Sial has announced holding a cultural and craft show at the Millat Park in the Commercial Area of Satellite Town. The programme would be followed by a puppet show for children, Jhoomar and Bhangra performances and a musical night. A food street would also be the highlight of the event for the whole of Sunday.

According to organiser Faisal Ata Khan, the additional commissioner (coordination) said that almost all the arrangements to celebrate the Punjab Culture Day had been completed.
