• Cats respond most readily to names that end in an ‘ee’ sound.

• If a cat is frightened, their hair stands up fairly evenly all over the body; when the cat threatens or is ready to attack, the hair stands up only in a narrow band along the spine and tail.

• “Mixed breeds” and “cross breeds” are not the same. Mix breed dogs have various lineage that is mostly likely unknown, as for cross breeds, they are only two different breeds of dogs combined together.
