Save trees

Mother Earth has given us many gifts. One of them is trees. Trees are very important for the environment and for the health of all living things. Without them, the environment will not be clean and the earth will not sustain for long.

So, it is for the good of all living things that we, humans, should plant more trees and do things that promote greenery in our surroundings. We should also stop all those who add to deforestation by cutting trees.

Holes in the fence

This is with reference to the story “Holes in fence” by Muhammad Qasim Shafi (YW, December 12). The story highlighted the result of having a bad temperament and how important it is to control losing one’s cool.

We should not hurt others by using bad language and if someone does something that angers you, keep things in your control by either being silent or walking away. For instance, if you stay in the situation, you might end up arguing, resulting in bad feelings for each other and things may never remain the same again.

The power of gifts

This is regarding the cover story “The power of gifts” by Benazir Raz (YW, January 9). It was an excellent article. It is true that words have their own significance, but we cannot deny the importance of gifts. Everyone loves to receive gifts, it makes people happy and the feeling of being remembered makes them delighted. We must keep the tradition of giving gifts alive, because it makes the relationships sweeter.

Finding opportunities

This is with reference to the story “Finding opportunities” by Muhammad Qasim Shafi (YW, January 2). The story gave the lesson of staying strong and polishing your skills instead of feeling depressed and overthinking in challenging times.

Difficulties and hard times make you strong and competitive, all you need is to stay focussed and composed in order to handle challenges in a better way.

The life of a book

This is regarding the story “The life of a book” by Rahmatullah Shafiq (YW, January 9). The story was interesting and I enjoyed reading it a lot. Apart from the story, I want to thank the YW for publishing wonderful articles and the news section, which are always interesting and sometimes quite funny.

I request the YW to keep publishing the wonderful content every week and make our Saturdays always amazing.
