Hasselhoff auctions Knight Rider car

The customised Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, that portrayed David Hasselhoff’s crime-fighting partner KITT in 1980s series Knight Rider, is being auctioned by the actor online.

Hasselhoff, who took ownership of the black vehicle after the series’ run ended, is auctioning off a wide range of “Hofficial merchandise,” including a 14-foot model of Hasselhoff’s body used in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. The auction is scheduled to end on January 23.

The TV series Knight Rider ran from 1982 to 1986, spanning four seasons and 90 episodes, with Hasselhoff and KITT making Knight Rider a cult classic.

Green Lantern’s Future State design

DC’s Future State kicked off in a big way, as more books in the line-up will make their way into fans’ hands soon. Future State: Green Lantern #1, will have the Lanterns trying to survive after the Central Power Battery goes dark.

Writer Ryan Cady Official shared the first look on Twitter, and it shows Cruz wearing her power ring on a necklace around her neck and what looks like a pilot jumpsuit with goggles. She’s also got too large pouches on her belt filled with tools and other items.

Future State: Green Lantern #1 is written by Emie Altbacker, Ryan Cady, and Geoffrey Thorne and drawn by Sami Basri, Clayton Henry, and Tom Raney.
