The impact of encouragement

This is with reference to the story, “The impact of encouragement” by Muhammad Qasim Shafi (YW, August 01). Encouragement is not flattery or empty praise as some people think. Encouragement is like verbal sunshine. It inspires people with hope and confidence. When we are encouraged, we are unstoppable, we are powerful beyond measure, inspired with that hope and confidence that forces us to break through barriers and live out our wildest dreams.

Not only does encouragement helps us reach success, but it helps us to get there more quickly. It was Winston Churchill who said, “Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It is courage that counts.”

There are going to be bad days. Sometimes we are going to fall on our respective faces. Failures don’t have to be endings. No matter how many times a person has failed there is always the chance that the attempt will succeed. Additionally, encouragement is the key ingredient that can help us to get there. When you encourage others, you positively impact their lives, you help them to see endless opportunities, you help them live out their wildest dreams.
