RAWALPINDI: Two persons were found murdered in different parts of the city, police said on Friday.

Babar Ismail informed Ganjmandi police that his uncle, Mohammad Shafi, 65, who lived alone, was found allegedly murdered on his bed.

The incident came to light when someone informed him that his uncle was not responding from inside his house.

His body was moved to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital for postmortem.

Furthermore, another man was allegedly stabbed to death by an unidentified person in Pirwadhai.

Police said Mir Saleem, resident of Swabi, informed police that he received a phone call from one of his relatives, who told him his brother Ameer Zada had been allegedly stabbed to death in Pirwadhai area and his body was lying in Holy Family Hospital (HFH).

The motive behind the murder is yet to be known.
