Lady Gaga’s new album Chromatica

Lady Gaga released her sixth studio album titled Chromatica. The album is available on music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer and Pandora.

Chromatica includes 16 tracks, including singles “Stupid Love” and “Rain On Me” featuring Ariana Grande, “Sour Candy” featuring South Korean girl group Blackpink and “Sine From Above” featuring Elton John.

Gaga last released the album Joanne in 2016. The pop star also recorded music for the A Star is Born soundtrack in 2018. Chromatica was originally set for release on April 10 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

New Goosebumps TV show in the works

A new live-action TV series based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling Goosebumps children’s books is now in the works.

The series is a collaboration between Scholastic Entertainment, Sony Pictures Television and Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film production company. No casting or network home have been announced yet.

“I loved making the Goosebumps movies and can’t wait to bring even more of R. L. Stine’s incredible stories to life through a high-end television series that speaks to both adults and kids alike,” Moritz said in a statement.

There are more than 350 million Goosebumps books in print.

A TV adaptation of the scary stories for kids ran for five seasons in the 1990s, and two films starring Jack Black were released in 2015 and 2018.

J.K. Rowling to release new ebook for free

J.K. Rowling is releasing a new book, The Ickabog, for free online. The 54-year-old author, best known for writing the Harry Potter series, shared the first two chapters of the new children’s book recently.

Chapter 1, “King Fred the Fearless,” introduces the setting of Cornucopia, a tiny country ruled by a long line of “fair-haired kings.” Chapter 2, “The Ickabog,” recounts the legend of the Ickabog, a monster rumoured to be living in a marsh.

Rowling will release new chapters of The Ickabog each weekday for the next seven weeks. She made it clear on Twitter that the book is not a Harry Potter spinoff.

“I’ve decided to publish the Ickabog for free online, so children on lockdown, or even those back at school during these strange, unsettling times, can read it or have it read to them,” she said.

Rowling told that The Ickabog is a story about truth and the abuse of power. The themes are timeless and could apply to any era or any country,” she said.
