SUKKUR: The Sukkur bench of the Sindh High Court on Wednesday imposed ban on entry of unrelated persons in courtrooms for 20 days as a precaution to keep coronavirus at bay, and allowed the administration to keep pilgrims returning from Iran in isolation camp set up in Labour Colony.

Sindh High Court Bar Association president Qurban Malano confirmed to media persons that that entry of unconcerned persons had been banned and only judges and lawyers would be present in courtrooms while applicants, petitioners and accused would be checked outside courtrooms.

Meanwhile, Sukkur deputy commissioner and additional advocate general submitted a report to the court on Wednesday after reviewing arrangements at the isolation camp and said that 30 nursing staffers and doctors would be present at the camp where pilgrims coming from Iran would be taken care of.

The court then granted permission for keeping the pilgrims in the camp and adjourned the hearing to March 17.
