After issuance of his black warrants the jail administration arranged his last meeting with his family on Tuesday. According to jail sources, his execution was carried out at 4.30am amid tight security.

According to deceased’s last will, his real sister received his body and took it to Peshawar for burial.

ILLEGAL OCCUPANTS OF WWB QUARTERS BEING EVICTED: Acting on the request of secretary Welfare Board Peshawar, the district administration has launched an operation against illegal occupants of WWB residential quarters, official sources said on Wednesday.

A district administration team headed by additional assistant commissioner Dr Adil Ayub with assistance of local police, Pesco, SNGPL and water supply staff, disconnected utility connections of all the 63 illegal occupants. The occupants also staged protest but the administration continued its operation and gave them 24 hours to vacate the quarters, or they would be forcibly evicted.

When contacted, Mr Ayub confirmed that utility connections of all the illegal occupants from two residential colonies of WWB had been disconnected, and that these quarters would be vacated from them on Thursday if they failed to evict them voluntarily. He said the authorities had fulfilled all the legal requirements by serving the notices twice and asking them individually through the WWB staff and police that they were illegal occupants.

Secretary WWB had through a letter to the deputy commissioner on April 23 pointed out that there were over 19 illegal occupants who all were outsiders and had been occupying the residential quarters in the 188 family quarters colony of WWB in Hattar Industrial Estate.

Through another letter the secretary also shared the names of another 45 illegal occupants from 400 residential quarters colony of Hattar and sought assistance in getting these residential quarters vacated.
