KARACHI, July 14: MQM coordination committee members, ministers and advisors continued campaign for the party’s proxies in the upcoming local government elections in various parts of the metropolis and solicited their support. They enquired about the problems of the peeple and got some of them, especially those pertaining to cleanliness, resolved on the spot.

Coordination committee’s in charge Anwar Alam, Shakil Umar, M.A. Jalil visited Ibrahim Haideri, Bin Qasim Town and Machera Colony and inquired about problems with representatives of Sindhi, Balochi, Pakhtoon, Punjabi and Saraiki speaking communities.

In another corner meeting, Abdul Qadir Khanzada, Abdul Quddoos and Iqbal Qadri at Ghaziabad promised to resolve problems being faced by the people of the locality and that of Orangi.

In Narainpura (UC-7) Saddar Town, Lyari UC-6 and 1, corner meetings were addressed by information advisor Salahuddin Haider, Abdul Aziz Bantwa, Tayab Hashmi and Hammad Siddiqi who solicited support of minority community and Marwari community for the Haq Parast candidates in the upcoming local government elections.

Earlier, Tayyab Hashmi got the area around Salawat Hotel and Jamaat Khana cleaned. Similar, corner meeting were also held in Pakistan Chowk area and North Nazimabad.
