Alone during a thunderstorm

This is with reference to the story, “Alone during a thunderstorm”, written by Rida Ahmed (YW, January 26). It was not just a nice story, but a good lesson for those parents who leave their children alone for various reasons.

It can be very dangerous to leave kids alone at home. Children are usually unaware of the hazards posed by electricity, wires, gas, etc, and by mistake they can get into contact with any active power plug or even turn on the stove. So I would suggest to all the readers to never stay at home alone for their own safety and make sure an elder is there to look after them.

My neighbourhood

This is with reference to the article “My neighbourhood” by Ali Alaiyan Rizvi (January 19, YW). It was an interesting article which reminded me of my childhood days when I played board games with friends in the neighbourhood. The article highlighted the significance of a united and responsible neighbourhood, where people love and live happily with each other. I really liked the way the writer explained the need of a society to be united by giving the examples of the unity among ants and a pack of wolves.

Let’s celebrate every day

This is regarding the website review “Let’s celebrate every day!” by Asif Ali (YW, January 19). The writer reviewed a very nice website, which was all about celebrations taking place around the world every day. We are living a very busy life in which we hardly take time out to do anything fun. We have forgotten the joys of our life. It feels like we have become robots and we are constantly in a never ending race.

I think this is not the way to live life. We should live happily and celebrate everyday with something new and exciting in our minds. This will not only add to the beauty of our everyday life, but would also make our relationship with family and friends exciting.

Young World

Young World magazine is doing a splendid job of providing kids with a variety of content. It not only entertains children, but also helps them to enhance their knowledge by publishing stories, quiz, weird and showbiz news and also with wonderful DIYS. Among all the sections, I like the quotes section most as it leaves a positive effect on readers’ minds.
