KARACHI: Shaikh Aziz, a veteran journalist, author and scholar, who had died here on Sunday, was laid to rest on Monday.

His funeral prayers were held at a mosque in KDA Overseas Bungalows, Block 17, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, near his residence and later he was buried in Pehalwan Goth graveyard.

A large number of people including members of media fraternity, his friends and relatives attended the funeral prayers. The soyem of the late journalist would be held today (Tuesday) after Asr prayers at his residence, E-24, Naveed Bungalows, Block 17, Gulistan-i-Jauhar.
