Beauty of trees

Trees add beauty to the world we live in. Whenever we think of a place where we can enjoy ourselves and rest comfortably, trees always make an essential part of the scene. No place of beauty in the world is complete without trees.

Therefore, I request everyone to not cut trees because trees are very important for the survival of the world and us.

Life is a gift

This is with reference to the article “Life is a gift”, by Wardah Khan (YW, June 30). Life is a blessing from Almighty Allah. It is a journey from birth to death, and it is up to us how we choose to live.

We should never blame life for our sufferings and sorrows, instead we should be thankful for the bounties given by Allah. We should enjoy every moment of life.

Epic food festival fights

This is with reference to the article “Epic food festival fights”, by Gulrukh Tausif (YW, 30 June).

I think such festivals lead to wastage of food. Majority of the world’s population is suffering from hunger and others are playing with food. It is stupidity to organise such festivals. We should make the effort to provide food to starving people rather than doing such foolish things or organising food fight festivals.

I know old customs are a part of culture, but now these are old and we should change customs such as these. We should make correct use of our money and wealth by utilising it for the betterment of humanity rather than to waste it in this way.

Today a reader, tomorrow a leader

I really liked the story “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader” by Aiman Adnan (YW, June 23). It is a good practice for students to read books other than academic ones to develop their skills and gain knowledge about the world.

The writer rightly said that there should always be a balance of both school work and hobbies. This is the best way we can achieve our goals in life.

The best dad in the world award

This is regarding the Wonder Craft, “The best dad in the world award”, by Asif Ali (YW, June 9). It was a really interesting craft to make. It can be made for any other occasion as well and will be a present that will be well liked. I am really happy to learn interesting crafts from Young World.
