LARKANA: Four more bodies were fished out on Sunday during a search, continuing since late Friday evening, for the seven missing occupants of a boat that had capsized in the Indus at Balhreji ferry point here late on Friday evening.

The four victims were identified as Kojho Mal, Niaz Kharal, Shanawaz Channa and Abdul Majeed Hesbani. Three persons still missing are Gulsher Channa, Dildar Ali Malah and Khalid Ghanghro.

Pakistan Navy personnel and local divers had already taken out six bodies by Saturday evening.

The boat was transporting 30 people back to the ferry point from Muhbann Pir shrine when it dashed against the river bank and capsized while being anchored. Seventeen of them had managed to swim ashore.
