Balochistan to control Zakat and Fitrana collections

QUETTA: The provincial government of Balochistan has imposed a ban on collection of Zakat and Fitrana by banned organisations in the province. The provincial government would take strict against banned organisations collecting Zakat and Fitrana during Eidul Fitr.

"All concerned commissioners and deputy commissioners have been directed to implement the order. A formal notification has also been issued in this context," said Akbar Hussain Durrani, Home Secretary of Balochistan.

The government has imposed the ban in order to control the collection of Zakat and Fitrana by banned outfits. Officials and deputy commissioners of 32 districts have been directed to ensure implementation of the order.

“All senior officers would stay at their respective districts. A comprehensive security plan has been developed to ensure security during Eid prayers and holidays,” added Durrani while speaking in regards to security preparations.
