KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday said that land grabbers must be taken to task and instructed action against them, DawnNews reported.

In a telephonic address to sector and unit in-charges' in Azizabad, calling them 'intolerable', the MQM chief said that there is no place for land grabbers in the party.

He alleged that land grabbers included some influential leaders who had the backing of agencies and police.

He directed Sindh governor to take legal action against the culprits regardless of their association.

On the occasion, the MQM chief said that party members misusing perks from towns, be it free petrol or unofficial use of official cars, must mend their ways or else they would be asked to resign.
