LARKANA, Nov 13: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Wednesday announced the results of Secondary School Certificate part-I, science and general groups, examination.

According to BISE, a total of 36,595 candidates took the science group examination and 32,731 of them cleared all five papers while 183 were declared fail.

The results of 604 candidates were withheld for using unfair means in the examination. They would face inquiry, it said.

From among the 3,864 candidates who could not clear all five papers in the examination, 1,893 cleared four papers, 893 three, 177 two and 98 candidates could clear only one paper.

In the general group, 3,536 students appeared and 2,883 were declared pass in all the five subjects and only two candidates were declared fail.

The results of 246 candidates were withheld for cheating in the examination.—BoC
