QUETTA: After losing the majority in the Balochistan cabinet, today's session called by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani was postponed, DawnNews reported on Sunday.

The ministers who resigned made a political alliance with the opposition and opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi earned a majority in the provincial assembly over CM Raisani. Eight MPAs of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and 16 out of 19 Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) also submitted their resignations and joined opposition, along with five from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The opposition refused to accept the nomination for caretaker CM in Balochistan.

Meanwhile according to DawnNews on Sunday, PML-N, PML-Q and PPP agreed to bring an impartial caretaker CM in Balochistan.

PPP Balochistan President Sadiq Umrani, PML-N Balochistan President Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, and PML-Q Balochistan President Shiekh Jaffer Mandokhel held a meeting with each other today.

They decided in principle to block the way of any partial caretaker CM in Balochistan.
