ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujjat Hussain and Senior Minister for Defence Production Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here on Friday at Prime Minister House and discussed the overall political situation in the country.

They supported the prime minister's stance that all the state institutions should work within the ambit of Constitution for the sake of democracy, adding it had come as a result of a long struggle by the people of Pakistan and the political leadership alike, said a press release issued by PM House.

They said that all the state institutions were under the Constitution and wanted to see them stronger and complementing each other in the process of national integration and unity which was the need of the hour.

They said that all the political forces had to work in unison to nurture democracy which, in turn, would ensure stability so critical for the overall development of the country. “Confusion and uncertainty make the economy vulnerable at the first place'', the PML-Q leaders added.
