LARKANA, Aug 8 The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Saturday announced the result of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-II annual examination (2009) of Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering.

According to results, 10,493 candidates appeared in pre-medical group where only 116 candidates could clinch A-1 grade, 782 were placed in A grade, 2,974 in B-grade, 3,719 in C grade and 619 were placed in D grade. Result of 596 candidates was withheld for using unfair means during the examination. The overall pass percentage was 78.24.

Asif Ali Chandio of Government College Mehar obtained 938 marks and stood first, the second position was shared by Sheeraz Ahmed Sangi and Muzamil Hussain Abbasi of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) Larkana, while Raja Muhammad Siddiq Lashari of St Joseph College Jacobabad obtained 932 marks and secured third position.

Mehk Gul Mastoi of Bahria Foundation College Jacobabad obtained 943 marks and stood first, Mehvish Mirani and Pirah of SZABIST Larkana got second and third positions respectively.

Ahmed Jawad Ansari of Public School Larkana and Kashif Bhutto of Government Shah Latif College Qambar shared the first position by obtaining 939 marks. Muhammad Nauman Uppal of WAPDA Colony School, got 935 marks and stood second while Irfan Soomro of SZABIST got 925 marks and stood third.

Rabia Memon of Government Girls College Shikarpur obtained 914 marks and stood first, Mariyam Agha of Government Higher Secondary School got 889 marks and stood second while Saman Shaikh of Gul Model Science College Jacobabad stood third with 885 marks.
