FC kills 13 suspected Mustung carnage militants

QUETTA: Frontier Corps on Monday claimed to have killed 13 suspected militants who were allegedly involved in the Mastung carnage that claimed at least 20 lives.

“FC launched targeted operations in Balochistan's Kalat and Pangjoor districts, killing 13 miscreants,” Khan Wasey, the Spokesman for Frontier Corps said.

He said security forces also recovered weapons from the possession of the miscreants.

Wasey stated that search operations were carried out in Hat Boai and Borgan areas of Kalat district. An exchange of fire also took place between forces and miscreants, he added.

The FC spokesperson stated that the miscreants were allegedly involved in killings of bus passengers in Khad Kucha area of Mastung on May 29th. However, FC's claim could not be verified from independent sources.

FC also killed four militants in Parum area of Panjgor district. Wasey stated that the miscreants were killed during an exchange of fire with forces.

@syed . it appears you are not following the news updates. Here is what happened.The terrorists kidnapped passengers from two coaches in Mastung area. The law enforcement agencies (Police/FC) arrived at the scene and engaged the kidnappers and the firefight started. The Federal government sent 4 helicopters to the scene to assist the FC to hunt down the kidnappers. They were surrounded by security forces and killed. The kidnappers identities is still being checked by FC/Police. I believe BLA has claimed responsibility for the attack on innocent passengers. Good and quick response by the FC and the police. Good job.

Who knows who got killed, how many got killed without any trial. Now case will be closed. Success achieved. All happy that justice has been done. Except for thefamilies of the people killed by the miscreants and the FC.

@Sukhera it seems like you are blindly following the news and don't you know,according to the eye witnesses,up till 1 hour of the incident there wasn't anyone around. How can security forces prove that the people killed were among the killers of Pashtun brothers.In Baluchistan people hear news about killings and nothing about any judicial proceedings or inquiry.
