MIRPURKHAS, Nov 5: The district and sessions court of Mirpurkhas ordered release of 15 bonded labourers belonging to Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka after recording their statements on Tuesday.

Sawan Kolhi had filed an application in the court a few days ago complaining that his 15 relatives had been kept in illegal confinement by a landowner in Deh 235 of the taluka. He requested the court to get them released by police.

District and sessions judge Degan Bhurgari ordered the police to conduct a raid on the farmland and recover the victims. Police carried out the raid on Tuesday and recovered them.—BoC
