RAWALPINDI, April 5: The accountability court number II will indict former deputy speaker National Assembly Nawaz Khokhar and others for their alleged involvement in Islamabad New City scam here on April 16.
Qazi Misbaul Haq, the NAB lawyer, informed the judge Mumtaz Hussain Shah that the reference would be submitted to the court on April 16. Nawaz Khokhar was present in the court.
Zahid Shafiq, former director National Housing Authority (NHA), is co-accused in the case. The court has exempted Federal Minister for Water and Power Aftab Sherpao from personal appearance in the court.—APP
