RAWALPINDI, March 27: The Punjab government has given go-ahead to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) to replace the out-of-order CT scan (Computed Axial Tomography) machine.

After receiving green signal from Lahore, the BBH administration has sent PC-I for the new machine and sought Rs60.5 million financial assistance in this regard.

The BBH administration has also sent proposals to Lahore, seeking two more X-Ray machines for the hospital, as, according to them, machines were not sufficient to cope with the patients.

When contacted, BBH Medical Superintendent Dr Asif Qadir Mir said they had sent PC-I for the new CT scan machine. He said earlier, the administration was trying to repair it but the machine was not repairable. — A Reporter
