LAHORE, March 25: A constable was critically injured after two alleged criminals opened fire on police near Ashyana Housing Scheme in Nishtar Colony on Sunday.
Police said two Mohafiz Force officials signaled as many motorcyclists to stop for snap checking.
The suspects instead of stopping opened fire on policemen and fled the scene.
Constable Naveed suffered bullets and was rushed to Lahore General Hospital.
Police registered a case against unidentified attackers.
