SUKKUR, Dec 15: A man was freed on Thursday from the illegal detention at a police station.

District and Sessions Judge, Jacobabad, Abdul Hameed Qureshi appointed Azizullah Jamali as a Raid Commissioner on the application of Mst Marvi w/o Malook Buriro stating that her two sons Jawed Ahmed and Khalil Ahmed were languishing in Thull police station since last two days, though no case was registered against them.

Commissioner conducted a raid on the police station and found only Jawed Ahmed there.

The Commissioner, after verification of police record, released Jawed Ahmed and sealed the relevant record. He ordered the SHO Abdul Malik Abro to appear before the District and Sessions Judge along with the record on Friday.

He also directed Ms Marvi to appear before the court along with her son Jawed Ahmed, the same day.
