ATTOCK, Sept 22: Local police have arrested one of their men, Investigation Officer Sub Inspector Javed Ahmed, for his alleged defective investigations in crucial cases that benefited the criminals and registered a criminal case against him.
Dawn learnt on Thursday that the DPO Dr Mohammad Akhtar Abbas, taking exception to public complaints about his defective investigations and ordered the Attock city police to book him under criminal charges. — Correspondent
