Two die on road

CHAKWAL, Sept 2: Two persons were killed in separate incidents during the Eidul Fitr. Sources said that Sameer Ahmed, resident of Moreed village was going to his house when his motorbike slipped and rammed into a tree near Balkasar Interchange.

He died on the spot. In another incident, Mohammad Nadeem and his twelve-year-old son Yasir of Moreed village were going on the motorbike when a tractor-trolley hit them near Odherwal Chowk. Yasir died on the spot while his father Mohammad Nadeem sustained serious injuries. —Correspondent

Man abducted

TAXILA, Sept 2: A man was abducted from Gadwal area in limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Wednesday.

Police sources said that Ahmed Nawaz came from Attock to Gadwal to see his relatives from where he was abducted by the unknown outlaws.

Wah Cantonment police registered a case and started investigation. —Correspondent
