KOHAT, Aug 25: A man allegedly killed his uncle with the help of his father and brother over a petty dispute in Ghurzandi area of Lachi tehsil of Kohat the other day.

A sister of the deceased told Lachi police that her brothers Abdullah and Awal Mohammad exchanged hot words over the treatment of an inmate of the house.

The sons of Abdullah, Zebullah and Sajid, jumped over their uncle and the former cut his throat with a knife, she alleged. The accused managed to escape.

Police registered a case against Abdullah his son Zebullah and Sajid and launched search for their arrest.

In another incident, police arrested two alleged terrorists with hand grenade and hashish from Tore Satane area, located adjacent to the semi-autonomous Frontier Region of Kohat on Wednesday.

The police team was checking suspicious people and vehicles in the area as part of special security plan to stop infiltration of militants from tribal area into Kohat.

They frisked two alleged terrorists, Mohammad Amir and Muhabat Shah, and recovered a grenade and half kilogram of hashish from their possession. Police registered a case against them under Terrorist Act and started investigations.
