ISLAMABAD, June 25: Eight gamblers were arrested during a raid on a gambling den in Sector G-10 by the Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) on Saturday while stake money, equipment used in the betting and other valuables were also seized.

A spokesman for the police said that on a tip off, the CIA staff raided at the gambling den in Sector G-10 and arrested eight gamblers. The police officials also recovered stake money of Rs25,000, mobile phones, fax machine, printer, CPU, TV sets and other items.

Similarly, the CIA staff also recovered a 30-bore pistol from an accused while the Shahzad Town police recovered a 30-bore pistol from another accused.—Staff Reporter
