LAHORE, April 25: Robbers took away over Rs1.3million cash from a bank after injuring a security guard on Walton Road on Monday.
The Factory Area police said six robbers entered Meezan Bank around 2:50pm, held the staff and customers at gunpoint and looted cash.
A police official told Dawn that the record of CCTV footage and other forensic evidence had been collected for investigation, saying the security company did not respond in time when one of the bank employees alerted it. — Staff Reporter
