QUETTA, April 3: Three people were found dead and two others were killed in a landmine blast in Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts of Balochistan on Sunday.

According to Levies Force sources, three bullet-riddled bodies were found in Pash-Bogi area, some 30km off Dera Bugti town.

A spokesman for the Baloch Republican Party (BRP), Sher Mohammad Bugti, said the bodies were of the BRP leaders who had been missing for three months.

He identified them as Khatiran Bugti, Ghulam Qadir and Pir Jan.

The spokesman alleged that BRP leaders had been kidnapped by security personnel.Official sources, however, denied Mr Bugti's claim.

Two people were killed and three others injured when a landmine exploded in Kohlu town.

Sources said that Wadera Rab Nawaz, a tribal elder, was going to his village in a convoy. When they reached Kashak area one of the vehicles hit a landmine planted on the road.

The dead were identified as Din Mohammad and Bahar Khan.

Wadera Rub Nawaz Marri remained unhurt.
