KASUR, March 9: A court on Wednesday gave five-year imprisonment and Rs20,000 fine to six men who injured two men over a monetary dispute in 1999.

Convicts Rafiq, Sadiq, Shafiq, Yahya, Yasin and Aslam injured Sharif and Mahnga over a dispute on Rs139.

DNA TEST: DNA test has helped police find a rapist, the district police chief said on Wednesday. He said Azam raped a girl at gunpoint until she got pregnant. The girl gave birth to a baby, but Azam refused to own the baby. Police arrested Azam and investigated the matter. Finally, a DNA test proved that Azam was the father of the baby, the police official said.

NABBED: Phoolnagar police busted a gang of drug pushers after an encounter and seized 5kg hashish and unlicensed weapons early on Wednesday.
