RAWALPINDI, Jan 23: A Zambian woman passenger carrying 1-1/2 kg of heroin in her baggage was arrested at Benazir International Airport on Sunday, airport sources said.

Christine Musonda was intercepted by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) staff when the check-in of Emirates flight EK-615 was in progress. She was acting suspiciously when the ANF staff asked her for baggage search.

Her baggage was screened and 1-1/2 kg heroin was recovered.

She had concealed the heroin in the hair and tooth brushes. Later, she was shifted to the ANF police station.
