KARACHI, June 26: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, who is also the chairman of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, on Saturday cancelled the transfer orders of 140 employees of KWSB on humanitarian grounds.

The nazim was earlier requested by the KWSB employees, who were working at Gharo, Chalya, Dhabeji, Pipri, Damloti and North East Karachi pumping stations and in various towns of the city, to cancel their transfer orders on the plea that they were facing financial and transport problems to carry out their duties in far off areas.

City Nazim considered their request on humanitarian grounds and cancelled the transfer orders.

PLAYGROUND: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, on Saturday, laid the foundation of a park and playground in North Nazimabad's Block-F.
