FAISALABAD, Sept 8: A man allegedly shot dead his wife and mother-in-law over some domestic dispute in Chak 16 JB of Chak Jhumra tehsil on Tuesday night. Police said Bashiran of Chak Jhumra was married to Yousaf of Chiniot. The couple developed some differences after some time and Bashiran returned to her parents house.

Yousaf wanted to resolve the issue but Bashiran refused to accept his proposal. The couple exchanged hot words and the angry husband opened indiscriminate fire killing Bashiran and mother-in-law Sattan Bibi on the spot. Area police have registered a case against the accused who is still at large.
