SUKKUR, Feb 24: Two persons, including a woman, were killed in an armed clash between the civil forces of two tribes in Kutcha area, Ghotki district, late on Sunday night.

A clash took place between the civil forces of Chachar and Lolai tribesmen which resulted in the death of Aarbi alias Toplo Lolai and a Chachar woman whose name could not be ascertained. Panic and tension prevailed in the area after the clash and both the forces, formed to maintain law and order, remained entrenched against each other.

The force commander of the Sundrani tribe, Mir Ehsanullah Sundrani, has accused the administration of giving a free hand to the Chachar tribesmen who are creating a law and order situation.

He warned that if such practice continued, they would be compelled to withdraw their services. The reason for the recent clash, continuing since last week, was said to be a dispute over Karo-Kari which has already claimed two lives.
