KOHAT: Policeman killed by militants

KOHAT, Nov 21: One policeman was killed and four others were injured when militants opened fire on a police mobile in the Doaba area of the Hangu district on Friday evening.

Officials said the police mobile with five policemen was on routine patrol in the Mamokhwar area of Doaba when the militants opened indiscriminate fire on it, killing constable Ikramud Din and critically injuring Arshad, Zafar Ali, Momin Ali and Khayal Zaman.

The injured were taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Thall.
