HYDERABAD, Sept 3: A 30-year-old woman Khatoon Sheikh died under mysterious circumstances in Latifabad-10 in the jurisdiction of the A-section police station.

Her post mortem has been conducted which revealed that no marks of violence were apparently found on her body.

However, her brother Zulfikar insisted that she had been tortured to death by her brother- in- law Sajid Sheikh. She was initially taken to Bhitai hospital and her body was shifted to civil hospital’s morgue where her autopsy was conducted. The police were informed about her body in the house by local people of the area.

A-section police said that no FIR is so far lodged because post-mortem report is awaited. Police claimed that the woman was suffering from tuberculosis and she had been administered an injection. A mark is visible on her hand.
