HYDERABAD, July 25: Sindh Minister for Rural Development Zubair Ahmed Khan has said that because of the efforts of Haq Parast representatives, Bhitai Hospital Latifabad will soon be linked with the Liaquat University Hospital and specialist doctors from the university hospital will examine and look after patients at Bhitai hospital.

He was speaking at a dinner function hosted by Muttahida Qaumi Movement representatives at the Mehboob ground, Unit No.5, Latifabad, here on Thursday. He said that the coronary unit would also be established at Bhitai hospital to provide medical treatment to people of Latifabad near their doorsteps.

Millions of people had sacrificed their lives for achieving a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent but today the country was facing internal and external threats, the minister said and added that these threats could only be met through unity among the people.

In the interest of the solidarity of the country, it was people’s patriotic duty to forget the past differences and unite on one platform to face challenges confronting the nation, Zubair Ahmed Khan said.

He claimed that due to the efforts of the district government of Hyderabad and the Haq Parast leadership, Hyderabad Airport would be reopened and it would start its first flight from August 3.

The MQM was making all-out efforts for the development of Hyderabad the minister said and added that a strategy had been evolved to generate job opportunities for unemployed youths.

In furtherance of this objective, all incentives would be provided to entrepreneurs to set up new industrial units in Site area, he added. Party MNAs Salahuddin and Tayyab Hussain and other MQM leaders also spoke on the occasion.
